Our Story
Tamil Resettlement and Community Konnect (TRACK) Australia is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) operating in Sydney, Australia. Our story was inspired by the countless difficulties endured by our community members in their transition to Australian society after leaving a war-torn Sri Lanka
TRACK appreciates the importance of one’s journey and is there to always be a helping hand for those in need. Many asylum seekers and refugees face significant mental health illnesses due to previous experiences of trauma, separation and lack of social support. Unfortunately this has led to unacceptable rates of suicide and illness
This is where we come into action.

- To ensure people of Tamil heritage resettling in Australia are supported by the Tamil community in a culturally safe manner whilst:
- Promoting physical and mental well-being and resilience
- Supporting their connection with the mainstream & Tamil community and services
- Assisting them in achieving meaningful social and economic participation in society
