Lighting the Way : TRACK Australia – Inauguration eveing
TRACK Australia has its inauguration event on 28th October 2023 in Ermington Community Hall.
This event will be attended by our volunteers, companions, community representatives, and dignitaries.
TRACK Australia’s initial projects have included the establishment of the Tamil Companion Program, that has linked newly arrived Tamil community members facing settlement and health challenges with a fellow Tamil for support.
We also supported many Tamil Community members and families facing financial hardship during theCOVID-19 pandemic with food relief parcels through the generosity of the local Tamil community and businesses.
Most recently we have established the Tamil Community Hub at Toongabbie Community Centre that provides a safe space for newly arrived Tamils to seek assistance with settlement challenges and learn new skills.
